The Meditation for Avatars server travels from location to location, and stays in one place for a specific duration in order to support the positive qualities of the particular location.
Janurary 2008. At the beginning of the new year MfAs is part of the International Competition for Online Media at21.Stuttgarter Filmwinter( presented on Terminals at Filmhaus Stuttgart: from Thursday January 17th to Sunday 20th )
From 12 May to 1 July the next stop over will be theEdith Russ Site of Media Art in Oldenburg, Germany, where it participates in the show MY OWN PRIVATE REALITY - GROWING UP ONLINE IN THE 90S AND 00S.
During “Happy Believers”, the 7th Werkleitz Biennale, from 6 to 10 September 2006, the server was installed in the Volkspark house in the town of Halle an der Saale in Eastern Germany (see pictures below). After the Biennale it moved to the Gardeners house, home of the Media Art Department at Burg Giebichenstein - University of Art and Design, Halle.
